Ugulan Fishing Camp
is situated 300 km to the north-east of Magadan in the pristine wilderness. No
roads or people for miles around, only chopper access, the place where you
will feel like a pioneer.

We will help you to enjoy every minute of your trip!
Ugulan fishing camp can comfortably accommodate 10-12
fishermen. Two- or three- man
wall
tents are weatherproof and quite comfortable
- each has a stove, two beds with beddings and a portable
lamp. All guests gather for meals in the
big
canteen. Early breakfast is served before
departure.
Your guide will pilot your boat, help you with cleaning and
preparing your catch, will cook your lunch on the river bank
and will assist you in every way you need.
After your day of fishing you will enjoy a hot shower (or
Russian steaming sauna) and a substantial dinner. You will
enjoy Russian cuisine as well. Our cook is very experienced
and has all the fresh fruits and vegetables that it is
possible to find in Magadan markets. Wide variety of foods
and freshest fish is always on the table.
Beside fantastic fishing you will have numerous bear watching opportunities.
Your guide will ensure your safety.

Besides fantastic
fishing you will be able to enjoy bear viewing.
Safety:
Your guide will have a rifle and portable radio for your
safety.
The boat is equipped with life-vests.
There is a satellite phone in the camp and radios to keep stable connection
with the outside world.
The schedule of the fishing tour:
Package #1
1st day - arrival in Magadan airport at 10:00 a.m. Transfer to the helicopter
pad. Transportation by helicopter to the base camp. Dinner in the fishing camp.
2nd- 5th days- fishing days.
6th day -transportation to Magadan after lunch in the camp. Overnight in the

7th day- sightseeing, shopping.

In the afternoon - trip to the airport. Departure to the USA.
Package #2

How to book a fishing trip with KULU Safaris
$500.00 advance deposit required; balance is due upon arrival
to Magadan; advance deposits are non-refundable, but
transferable
** "KULU Safaris" is not responsible for loss of fishing days because of
non-flying weather. Hotel and meal expenses in town are on clients.
*** Please bring your favorite fishing gear. Preliminary notice needed for us
to provide you with fishing gear.
Weather:
Normally temperatures range from 50 to 65 F during the day
in July and the first half of August, and from 45 to 65 F in the second half
of August - beginning of September. In the second half of September it will
range from 40 to 60 F. Once you are at the place, fishing is always available.
Please be prepared for any weather with good raingear, waders etc., as well as
sunglasses and sunscreen lotions.
